Our Mission
We are a Southern Baptist church that
supports missionaries around the world and here at home. We believe
that Jesus Christ went to the cross and died for our sins so that we can be
forgiven. We have a traditional service on Sunday mornings but, with a
twist. We have digital drums, organ, electric keyboard, and a grand
piano. We have recently added a big screen and projector which we
occasionally put words to a contemporary song on and sing. We have a
choir that helps to lead the congregational hymns and sometimes does special
music. Every Sunday morning we have “meet & greet” and
this allows every visitor to have the opportunity to shake hands and say
hello to everyone without leaving your seat. There is a time for the
children to participate in the worship service when we have the brown bag
sermon. Our worship time usually lasts an hour and fifteen minutes.
There is a nursery for the babies and mission friends for the 4 & 5 year
olds to attend and learn of missionaries around the world while you are in
the worship service on Sunday morning. Three Sundays per month there is
children’s church time for the school aged children. Our
congregation is a very diverse group; we have people from all walks of life
and all kinds of personalities. We even have 2 couples from
