Our Ministries

If you have School – age children who attend here, you will know about the Moore Activity Center (MAC). God made it possible for us to purchase the “Salty Dog” saloon in 2000. It is the building attached to our church building on Linden St. at the end of the alley. God has made it possible for us to use this building for many services to our community. There are AA meetings in this building daily 8:00 am to 9:00 am. and God continues to be glorified through all of the ministries that go on at the “MAC”.

We also have the house next to the church in our parking lot which we keep our food and clothing pantry in. If you ever have need of either of these items, please don’t hesitate to ask. Go to the Childcare Center office and they will direct you to someone who can help.

The church has an ongoing yearly ministry for Thanksgiving and Christmas that we would like to let you know about. Every year we sign up at least 100 low income families to give food and toys. The sign up is usually the first part of November and it is the only day we will sign anyone up; the sign up is then closed off and we start collecting food and toys for the families that qualify. The Thanksgiving Giveaway provides each family with a turkey/chicken and all the trimmings to make a Thanksgiving dinner. The Christmas Giveaway provides a dinner plus toys for the children. Watch for the sign up date or ask in the office.
